We were there. Some of us believed. Some of us enforced. Some of us survived by becoming what was expected of us. We eat our crow willingly. We let it humble us.

Let Them Eat Crow is a multi-nested investigative research project. Each nest contributes a different line of evidence to a shared investigation of life during and after high-control religion through survivor experience, institutional analysis, representation, and storycraft. Though each has its own focus, every nest informs the others.

Each contributes a different kind of evidence. Together, they create a richer understanding than any one approach could alone.

We were taught to question reality in favor of an invisible war. We were taught to distrust research. Let Them Eat Crow is our answer: investigate the evidence. Together. One piece at a time.
