Mission Statement
LTEC is organized into four nests.
The Murder – survivor stories, lived experience, camaraderie, solidarity
Institutional Capture – documenting how ideology becomes policy, systems, and power
Representation Saves Lives – exploring the impact of visibility, identity, and narrative
Embodied Storycraft. – examining how stories communicate meaning through emotion, embodiment, and structure
Together these nests form a Crow’s Nest of interconnected work. While each nest has its own focus, none exists in isolation. Survivor experience, institutional analysis, representation, and storytelling continually inform one another, creating a broader understanding than any single perspective could alone provide.
